I always feel bad when I don't DM people I consider friends in a while. But at the same time, I'm of the mindset of "the road goes both ways," and people can DM me whenever they feel like it.

I treat friends as if I just saw them yesterday, or try to, and I don't mind if we stop talking for a few days, weeks or even months. You're my friend for a reason, no need to treat it as if much has changed. Not saying a person can't change or anything... You get the point.

Anyways, just thought I'd air it out there. Came on my mind as I was cooking. Wonder if other people talk to friends they haven't seen in a while in a similar way, or if they just sorta "forget" they were friends. Doubt anyone will admit that, though.
