Finally got the FSD v14.3.2 update at the end of my business trip! 🚗💨
I decided to test it in a mall parking garage—historically a weak spot. I drove all the way to the roof and picked the hardest corner to start. FSD followed arrow and sign all the way down to find the first floor.
The highlight happens around 4:55: we were waiting to exit, but the car ahead was taking forever. FSD actually seemed "impatient"—it backed up, found a different exit, and got out smoothly! It wasn't necessarily the most efficient move, but it’s exactly what sentience feels like. 🤖✨

Pressing the accelerator is not the good interface，it means both to speed up and to encourage the system to do something it feel uncertain about. some collision happen because of this ambiguity. Just use voice command like what you did to a taxi driver，responsibility is irrelevant in this case

@edgecase411 Your Tesla is a refreshed model right？Refreshed model get microphone array which helps improve audio direction recognition. Cool to see FSD have both 360 degree eyes and array ears that are superhuman

@dkmitc even if it reads，I doubt context length of FSD is that long to remember what it read outside a long tunnel

@edgecase411 Probably because as soon as you switch hands, it thoughts you are gonna put it down and have reaction. This is also likely an edge case in edge cases. Not too many hand held stop signs teasing the driver in real world🤣

@JonBbC_TechGeek @edgecase411 @OGMarsLife @TexasTSLA I think End2End system like FSD responds to a whole scenario instead of a single sign or hand gesture. Probably try to set up with cones or/and vest and see if you can reproduce @edgecase411 's video?

@nymbusjp Not really，at least 2-3 Chinese companies are as good，if not better，as Xpeng in terms of FSD like functions. Though FSD is still clearly better

I think they don't let you trigger lane changes with the turn signals because they believe it's unnecessary. However, I think Tesla can control FSD behavirors very well. Just like how changing the parking options alters the system's parking behavior, voice command is just another form of driving prompt
