Venus Hosseini-Nejad, a 28-year-old Baha’i citizen:

On January 15, she was arrested at her workplace by several government agents with covered faces in Kerman. There has been no news of her whereabouts, no phone call, no word on her physical condition.

Venus is a young woman full of energy, joy, and dreams. To her friends, she is not just a name she is family. Baha’is in Iran have been systematically harassed and persecuted for years in the hands of the Islamic Republic. Silence puts lives at risk.
