Experienced & skilled cops are leaving the NYPD!
“The exodus — amid the pandemic, anti-cop hostility, riots and a skyrocketing number of NYC shootings — saw 2,600 officers say goodbye to the job and another 2,746 file for retirement, a combined 5,346.” https://t.co/sEYNbUSmrk

Words matter
Earlier this week we said that again after graffiti that proclaimed ”kill cops”
This morning..a Molotov cocktail thrown at an occupied marked police car
Now more than ever is the time to come together, to move forward together

Felony assaults on cops in the subways are on the rise, with 15 attacks on police officers in January — 3 times that of 2020.
Detectives: stay vigilant and protect yourselves, your fellow cops, and the public — and the DEA will protect you. https://t.co/xJPKiZm46V
So, do law-abiding citizens get paid as well, or are we just doing criminals? If I promise not to knock off a liquor store in 2021, what do I get?
You know what a good incentive would be for criminals not to commit crimes? Jail. For a long time. Period.

Today the @NYCCouncil will hold a hearing to move School Safety Agents from the NYPD to the DOE.
“It’s something the DOE doesn’t do well — security,” said Gregory Floyd...”
“They weren’t prepared for it 22 years ago. They’re not prepared for it now.”
