Pakistan Is Now Bombing Targets Inside Yemen In Support Of Saudi Arabia’s War On Its Neighbour
Under the guise of the “Mecca Pact”, dubbed the “Muslim NATO”, Pakistan is fighting a war against a Muslim nation teaming up with Saudi Arabia that is using Israeli intelligence & relying on their support to strike Yemen.
This information was revealed by the New York Times who quoted a Pakistani military official. Pakistan has also deployed 8,000 troops.
Have been seeing tweets in Arabic about/showing civilian areas being bombed allegedly by Pakistani jets - some (in Arabic) even justifying the aerial assault by using the human shields framing, claiming Ansarallah built their weapons depots and camps close to civilian areas on purpose.
Bombing civilians would not be surprising for a country that bombed a medical facility in Afghanistan in March 2026, killing 143, and claiming they carried out a “precision strike” on “technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage facilities”.
Some of us here have been consistently raising alarm bells for the last four years that the country has already collapsed, and that what will follow is death, destruction, and devastation for the people.
And throughout that time, we were mocked for spreading "pessimism" in society, while the regime and its enablers in the media, academia, and NGOs couldn’t stop cheering fake geopolitical wins, SIFC's, crypto schemes, global relevance, and Trump’s pat on the back.
My concern isn’t simply that the regime is downright corrupt and criminal; it’s primarily that they are philosophically so dead that they have neither the intention nor the imagination to deliver any good for 240 million people.
Our only hope now is that by the time they are done, there is something left of the country.
Even the worst of the dictators perform better in their first 3 years.
Not sure what else was expected from a military dictator in bed with two of the most crooked political dynasties.
Pakistanis are eating Less because they can no longer afford to eat more.
Consumption of wheat is down by 6%, rice down by 19% and daal falling by over 25%.
Despite being a major food producer moderate to severe food insecurity rose from 15.9% in 2019 to 24.4% in 2025, with severe food insecurity reaching 5%.
If the trend continues, chronic undernutrition could have serious long term consequences for public health and future generations.
Because Pakistan is under an American approved dictatorship.
Turkey is under a compromised erdogan who is a wannabe sultan.
And Saudi is a kingdom bestowed upon those that helped Britain conquer Arab lands a century ago.
MDA is presented as some assertion of Muslim sovereignty when in actuality it is a defense architecture meant to protect US interests - by way of its regional vassals - and increase aggression against and isolation of those resisting US-Israel expansionism.
Not one of these “Muslim” powers dared lifted a finger to stop the Zionist genocide in Gaza. Their “pact” is to defend the interests of America and “Israel,” nothing else.
Ashamed (once again) to be a Pakistani - no money to clothe, feed, protect and educate our children but every rupee to go slaughter Yemenis that have, to their own great cost, resisted the Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
🇵🇰 In 2015, when Saudi Arabia asked Pakistan for troops, warplanes and warships for its war in Yemen, Pakistan's parliament debated the request for days and unanimously voted to stay neutral, amid broad public opposition.
On Monday, Pakistan agreed to "rapid deployment" of forces to Saudi Arabia under the Makkah defense pact, as fighting with Ansar Allah escalates. No parliamentary debate or vote on the deployment has been reported.
Since 2015, power in Pakistan has shifted sharply toward the military. Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir was made Chief of Defense Forces and given lifetime legal immunity under a 2025 constitutional amendment, while former Prime Minister Imran Khan, overwhelmingly the most popular figure in the country, remains in prison.
When did Pakistanis consent to their authoritarian military regime joining the US-Saudi war in Yemen?
Pakistani military is "on the ground" in Yemen
Pakistani regime "sent four cargo planes with equipment" to Yemen, more than 30,000 Pakistani "troops arrived in waves" to Saudi
