**Gurgaon needs a governance reset.**
A city of highly educated, professional citizens is being **harassed by political interference, bureaucratic apathy and an unaccountable field machinery.**
XENs/SDOs often don't respond, field staff have a **free run**, and citizens keep chasing officials for basic services.
The municipal system has become a **golden goose for politicians and bureaucrats**—so reform will obviously be an uphill task.
**Why not let government govern and professionals run the city's infrastructure?**
Bring in professionally managed city infrastructure companies with **KPIs, SLAs, digital monitoring, transparency and real accountability.**
Citizens don't care who runs the system.
**They want roads, drainage, sewage and basic services to WORK.**
**Gurgaon deserves a 21st-century city management model—not a bureaucracy designed for another era.**

All Babus and Ministers lives in Civil Lines where whole sarkari machinery deployed for them and thr loved ones 🥹Btw…Before we talk about developing the city further, let’s first fix the city we already have.
Our infrastructure is fractured, overloaded and incapable of supporting even today’s population—forget the massive development planned for tomorrow.
We should stop building more towers, more roads and more projects on an infrastructure backbone that is already failing.
The target should be simple: upgrade the entire civic infrastructure to handle at least 2X the current load and make it future-ready for the next 20 years.
And if the existing system has failed repeatedly, it’s time to think differently.
Why not give “City Development & Infrastructure Management” on a 3–4 year performance-based lease to a professionally managed corporate/private consortium, with:
Clear KPIs and deadlines
24×7 accountability
Independent monitoring
Penalties for failure
Public transparency
And most importantly, one accountable authority responsible for outcomes
MCG and GMDA can remain part of the governance and oversight framework, but execution must be professional, measurable and outcome-driven.
Because citizens don’t need another committee, another survey or another promise.
We need functioning drainage.
We need functioning sewerage.
We need roads that survive the monsoon.
We need infrastructure that matches the pace of development.
If the current model cannot deliver, change the model.
Gurugram deserves infrastructure for a global city—not infrastructure struggling to survive the next rainfall.

@Amul_Coop
@ulbharyana@MukeshSharmaGG@DC_Gurugram
For last 3-4 years this is the state of our leaving in millennium city.
During rain it’s sewer flood other wise sewer every alternate day reverse inside our house. Again 3-4 years state of South City2.
Surprisingly-JE and Local supervisor suggest change your house. SDO don’t pick phone.Non of them knows where is line and pit 🤯😤
@ulbharyana@MukeshSharmaGG@DC_Gurugram
@MukeshSharmaGG Now we should know the reason of our miseries this shows level of his concerns and empathy towards his voters…doesn’t know what to Do and when to Do.
In Damage Control mode / counter is On.
@GargiRawat@ndtv@Ankit_Tyagi01@vedikas@GauriSarin Media brings out what Ministers (Monsters) Administration (Frustration) tries to hides. These Babus will not allow good governance like or through corporate. It’s ATM for them 😡🤯😤
Minister ji how’s your area and your relatives…sure whole machinery in front of your house. It’s long term problem. Till the time this machinery at your disposal it will remain long term problem for Gurgaon people 😤🤯
#WATCH | Haryana | BJP MP from Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh, says, "Waterlogging has been occurring in Gurugram for years. The main reason is that development has taken place over the old, traditional drains that used to carry water from the hills to the Yamuna. We are still dealing with the consequences of this development that happened during the Congress era today. The only way to fix this now is to construct underground tunnels, similar to those built for the Metro, along the paths of the old drains to channel the water through those original routes. What we are doing right now is essentially a 'Band-Aid' solution. It offers some relief, but if we block the water in one place, it finds a way out elsewhere. The government is working on this, and we are arranging the necessary funds."
Since 2014 and before that other Party leaders it’s long term issue. Bhai how Looooooong in weeks time highway is made and in 2 years flyover with proper drainage system.
Suggest put price tag for yourself x% from contractor and if public need quick them y% from public+vote commitment.
We know you are corrupt don’t hide 🤯😡
#WATCH | Chandigarh: On waterlogging in Gurugram after heavy rainfall, Haryana Minister Shruti Choudhary says, "...The Chief Minister regularly holds meetings on this matter; since it is a long-term issue, devising solutions will naturally take time. To give you an example regarding my own department: the Irrigation Department has seen no significant work for a very long time. The entire infrastructure had fallen into such a dilapidated state that it is now set for major renovation under a World Bank project. All of this has become possible due to a clear vision and a thorough review of how to revamp the Irrigation Department across the entire state of Haryana."

Can some wake-up Minister shaab…it’s now 2026, even worse than 2025.
Only change is Now sewer also getting into our houses and administration is busy keeping Civil Lines clean obvious all these Babus and IAS are privilege one.
Below was in 2024 and we’re in 2026 same situation. MCG as usual same excuse we can’t do it’s rain BUT you still have to pay all taxes to MCG. To our surprise if they fix this them this sewer overflow will be on road which will come in public and media lense. Interior no one see and everything is good under MCG.

This what Government and thr babus has done in Gurgaon South City-2
below same place 2022-2024 same situation…don’t know how can they say that last man in queue is happy with our good and transparent governance 🤔
Gurugram, Haryana's most economically significant city, is facing a civic catastrophe hiding in plain sight. Sewerage and rainwater drainage infrastructure has collapsed to the point where sewage is backing up into residential homes.
Field staff do not respond to citizen calls. Senior officials, including the Commissioner /SDO’s routinely avoid public interaction — reducing civic duty to a matter of personal preference rather than public responsibility.@MunCorpGurugram@cmohry@DC_Gurugram@toi@cmohry
