This work was years in the making. A special acknowledgment goes to my exceptional co-authors, especially Dr. Kulkarni, whose perseverance, dedication, and hard work brought this project to fruition.
Grateful also to Society in Science Fellowship, and @NSF for funding this work

By means of systematic experimentation and scaling arguments, we show how thermal, elastic, and surface tension forces collectively influence the fate of these drops, leading to various post-impact behaviors like fragmentation, rebound, or adherence.
Our ice adhesion work was covered by New York Times in Science section... Thanks to Katrina and NYT for talking to us... Very grateful also to Prof. Chang-Hwan Choi for sharing his expert opinion on this work...
