Agree that Platner is not irredeemably evil or whatever, but the problem with talking about masculinity like this is that men are like everyone else in that they know when they are being condescended to.
This is the vision of masculinity we need modeled for men across nation. That there is value in working on yourself and self-improvement. That therapy is good and important.

@JamesAFurey In more districts than ever, the parents have a credible threat of exit through charters or online homeschooling. Plus admin churn means that fewer principals have tenure and are constantly afraid of pissing off parents.

Plot twist: proponents of public schools had better seize on this, too, or they're not going to have broadly supported public schools to be proponents of for long.
