We're glad that you brought these pics up. Do you know what we see, or more specifically, what we don't see? We don't see the women that would have been there from the unions because they would rather be seen supporting the men than REPRESENTING THEIR FEMALE MEMBERS.
We see a catastrophic failure of the unions to follow the SC judgment by doing performative gestures such as this.
We see the hypocrisy from @unisontheunion and @andreaegangs by boycotting this conference but having to restrict the men from going to their own Women's Conference.
We see @aslefunion faking a picture to show that they were supporting the demonstration when the pic wasn't even taken on the same day and only a couple actually went along to the protest.
We do see women who, once again, in the face of adversity from MPs, 'intersectional feminists, virtue signallers, science denyers, voter denyers turned up, marched proudly in to that conference and said, 'Here I am!'
So don't look at the small numbers in the theatre and think yourself proud. Be ashamed for the celebration of that fact.
But remember, as history has shown, the first steps any woman takes, it always starts off small and then grows - but with a lot of naysayers trying to put them back in their place.
From now on, conference will be all women, all the time.

Hi Teresa. So glad you're up for a chat. You keep reminding us of what you see which only proves our point again and again. Women were denied seats by their union's action. Come to think of it, women were denied seats at previous conferences because they were filled with men. We don't see a SC judgment as 'empty' Teresa. Misters of solidarity, to fix your typo, but not any more. Hey, Teresa, you've joined the Greens and subsequently will never be allowed back in to the Labour Party.

These are the unions:
ASLEF, Community, CWU, FBU, GMB, MU, NUM, TSSA, UNISON, Unite, and USDAW.
These unions protested the Women’s Conference for excluding men.
They support the Labour Party financially. If you don’t want your money being used this way, you need to contract out.

@teresamaryclark Teresa, look at the pic. On the window it gives the opening hours of pasta coss. 11.30am. So the pic wasn't taken on the morning of the demo but the day before. None of them went on to a demo that didn't happen until the day after. #llgbagathachristie
