Danas je najteze naci prave reci kojima bih mogao da opisem tvoju velicinu, lik i delo. Nikada necu zaboraviti nas prvi susret kada si me blagim osmehom pogledao i stegao mi ruku. Osecao sam se toliko uplaseno, a opet uzbudjeno jer cu imati priliku da radim sa tobom. Nisam znao sta me ceka ali sam ti verovao do smrti.
Pokazao si mi kako se gradi licnost, kako se postaje profesionalac, kako se gradi samopuzdanje, kako se trenira, kako se gradi tim, sta je Partizan, kako se igra za Partizan. Davao si prave savete u pravo vreme. Kupovao knjige, filmove, karte za pozoriste… i to sve si radio sa mnogo posvecenosti, paznje i ljubavi.
U tom trenutku zivota sam te gledao cak i kao drugog oca.
Naravno da necu zaboraviti ni one “fakultativne” treninge. Ti treninzi su bili dosta teski i naporni, ali si uvek bio prisutan, bio si uvek tu.
Ti i ja sami u Pioniru, na glavnom terenu.
Nista nije bilo bolje od toga.
Nikada nisi cascavao prisustvom, kako si ti voleo da kazes.
Ne znam da li sam ili nisam uspeo da budem ono sto si ti mislio da cu biti, ali znaj da sam dao sve od sebe i da sam ti neizmerno zahvalan na svakoj sekundi truda koji si mi posvetio. Sad tek iz neke druge perspektive, i drugog vremena vidim koliko si mi se bezuslovno dao.
Mnogo mi je zao sto necu moci da se ispricam sa tobom makar jos jedno, onako nasamo.
Neizmerno sam ti zahvalan.
