@BSGSCSFoster I couldn't direct message you but I just noticed you work for the school district I graduated from back in 2016! I found that interesting how such a small world it is! Enjoyed that chat
A2 I am currently a student at UT Tyler in Texas studying Physical education. I work with the women's basketball team as a student assistant. A typical day includes class going to the schools for student teaching and going to practice #Irnchat#edfb4338
Middle school is, IMHO, the best level of education (and I've taught & been an admin in ES, MS and HS). It is exhausting & enriching. It is frustrating & fulfilling. It is maddening & magnificent. Dive in. #mschat
Regarding to some of the replies I've read concerning Q4 is middle school really that bad. I have the least experience with that age group. #mschat#edfb4338
@DruTomlin4Edu A4 I'm scared of the age group in general I have hardly any experience at that level. I've heard some of the stories about middle school from my classmates. I also remember how me and my friends where.
@FbellomoB@DruTomlin4Edu I love this. I think it is so important that teachers try to get to know their students to better understand them. Its upsetting to see teachers fail to know their students
@DruTomlin4Edu A2: Creativity is so important when it comes to keeping students interested in what they are learning. I was actually discussing with a PE teacher I observe and he gave me multiple examples on ways he teaches the same concept but introduces new games to do so.
“I’m embarrassed to admit that when I first started teaching, I assumed most students with missing work were just unmotivated.” Here’s some factors to consider for managing late work.
