We’ve refreshed the BTOG logo!
It’s a small but meaningful update that reflects who we are today - a modern, connected community dedicated to improving outcomes for people with thoracic malignancies in the UK.
The new logo features a more contemporary, humanist typeface - replacing the older, more formal style.
It feels warmer, clearer, and more approachable, capturing the compassion, collaboration, and confidence that define BTOG.
This isn’t a radical change - it’s an evolution.
A refreshed look that honours our history while expressing the modern, inclusive organisation we’ve become.
We’re proud to share it with you.

EGFR+ UK is heading to #BTOG26 this week.
Trustees Professor Gini Harrison, Charlie Maxwell & Liz Baker will be in Edinburgh for 3 days of discussion on diagnostics, CNS disease, perioperative treatment, trials & AI in #lungcancer.
For people with EGFR+, many of this year’s themes are directly relevant:
▪️speed of testing
▪️getting the right treatment first time
▪️brain metastases
▪️trial options when resistance develops
Keen to see how these discussions translate into day-to-day care across the UK. #LCSM
BTOG has published its response to England’s new 10-Year #NationalCancerPlan.
We welcome its ambition — especially lung cancer screening rollout and tackling regional inequalities — but highlight key concerns around diagnostic capacity, workforce, smoking cessation integration, research delivery and funding realism.
Lung cancer services are already under significant pressure. If the Plan’s goals are to be achieved, implementation detail and investment will be critical.
