@farmingandJesus In my opinion we as a church lost our way when it comes to making disciples. We instead focused on filling the pews and judging a pastor’s “performance” based on church attendance. This is we are seeing more and more apostate churches.

Why have they fought so hard to erase this part of our history. I'm glad you asked 👇
Coming September 8: THE ELIJAH MANDATE
The prophet Elijah lived in an age of deception, opposition, and compromise, and his story speaks directly to believers facing today's cultural conflicts.
This book draws on Elijah's example to show how to stand for truth when culture is intent on redefining it, guard your soul with disciplines that sustain you, listen for the still, small voice of God for direction, and engage a hostile world as a faithful witness for the gospel.
Live faithfully, without fear.

This one is tough, but I would say yes and no. Yes to the human writ of divorce, but no spiritually. They may be able to get a divorce in this world, but they would not be allowed to remarry another because in God’s eyes they are one flesh. Also, if they are both believers (assuming she fell to temptation) then it is hard but the husband would need to forgive her if she is truly repentant.
