When I was growing up in Charleston, SC, as a young Air Force pilot, I lived downtown and walked to the Market frequently to drink beers and chat up College of Charleston girls.

These were the same years that Darius and Hootie & The Blowfish were just starting out. They played in bars for a minimal cover, and I’d walked over to listen.

I’ve been a fan ever since. Darius is a good man and a great American! I love this song.

For 45 years, the world called her a living saint.

* Charles Keating — Criminal banker. Donated $1.25 million to Teresa. She wrote a personal letter to the judge begging for his release. The money came from stolen savings of 23,000 Americans.
* Robert Maxwell — Father of Ghislaine Maxwell. Media mogul. Connected to Teresa through Vatican fundraising channels. His daughter became Epstein's chief recruiter.
* Hillary Clinton — Co-founded a toddler home in Washington DC with Teresa in 1995. The home was quietly shut down in 2012. No records of where the children went.

In 2017, Indian police raided a Missionaries of Charity home in Ranchi.
They found nuns selling babies for $1,800 each.

To all my great followers, a little about me.
I feel a need to write this, not to boast or "toot my horn" but to explain why I post what I do and why I feel I am qualified to post on the subject of automotive repair and technology.
Some recent derogatory posts insinuating that I did not know what I am taking about and some even calling me stupid and worse, led me to make this post.
First, I have over 50 years experience in the automotive repair industry, I am old. I went to college for electronics technology right out of high school.
I am ASE master certified in automotive, commercial bus, school bus and HD truck, ASE world class certified, have alternative fuel certifications, and Advanced Engine & Specialist certifications. I have held Master Nissan, Mazda and Subaru certifications while working in new car dealerships. I now teach automotive technology and work part time as a technical advisor for attorneys on automotive litigation cases.
Started repairing cars in full service gas stations when I was 15, then moved on to shops like Firestone and other similar ones. Owned and operated a full service Amoco station at the age of 23 for a few years.
Moved on to multiline new car dealerships where I specialized in Nissan, Mazda and Subaru. Won several technician contests with Nissan, with awards of all expense trips to Vegas. After dealership closed I landed a job as a test program supervisor and technical writer for Bosch Proving grounds. Did that for 9 years until they moved operations.
Landed a job with a company that was contracted to refurbished a fleet of buses for Greyhound. There I was quality control, process writer, technical trainer and in charge of certifying the braking systems on all completed buses. Also while working alongside Greyhound, I was hired to assist in a bus crash investigation for technical assist which led me into doing part time work as a technical consultant for some law firms working on automotive related cases.
After the Greyhound contract came to an end, I moved on to a Scotland based company that started a project of building double decker buses in the US. There was a technical writer and process writer and final quality inspector.
Then I moved on to teaching automotive technology at a high school.
And this is not a complete list at all, some other short term jobs in between, including a stint working as an inspector for automotive warranty companies.
My posts are to inform and to maybe help people navigate the often stressful process of getting their cars repaired. I try to be accurate and would never post anything inaccurate on purpose.
I am also trying to instigate change in the industry as there is a big shortage of technicians and its getting worse. Having worked in the business I know most of the reasons why and I am trying to help change that.
It's bad for the automotive technician now and its bad for the consumer and it should not be that way.
