If you all noticed yesterday, i was not really online. I blacked out during a surgery yesterday. I was lucky that the assistant surgeon was a very capable hand to continue and complete the surgery. I recovered early hours of this morning.
I hadn't had sleep for 6 weeks. In Nigeria, one Doctor does the work of 50 Doctors and this is not an exaggeration. The government knows about this but simply DOESN'T CARE. Life means nothing to them. Only money and power retention is important.
Our colleagues are also a very big part of the problem. Shame on our Medical elders generally. Shame on the government.
Nigerians!
Don’t you have nephews and nieces?
Don’t you have siblings?
There are kids in terrorist dens right now oh?
Babies!
Doesn’t that bother your heart?
The mornings have been very cold. Please nau! @seyimakinde do something! Get them out! Please!
Always get a sense of overwhelming uselessness and helplessness whenever I see posts about kidnap victims because it appears no matter the outrage, the people whose job it is to protect and secure do not see the need to do that nor do they appear to see a need for accountability. Just dead silence on the matter and business as usual. Jokes and dinners celebrating their achievements whilst several families go through the mental torture of imagining the worst happening to their children for 50days. I cannot even begin to imagine how harrowing the experience is for those that have been taken and those left behind.
If you live in Shomolu and under Band A please read this:
I think it’s now time that we rally around and do something.
It’s going to 2 months now that we’ve been dealing with this madness, yet these light companies do not see it fit to address this.
If you search “Band A” on Twitter, you’ll see many people complaining, tagging this companies, they see it, they ignore it. It’s time we approach this as a unit.
This is me calling on all Shomolu Band A users, wether it’s online or we having to take this offline, let us do something! Before you know it now, this will become a norm.
Retweet if you. Drop your suggestions on how we can go about this. We have every right to light we pay heavily for, or the very least an explanation.
I urge you not to ignore this as we’re all suffering it.🙏🏾

I spent my entire day finding companies abroad that are actively hiring remotely. I found a few companies all hiring remote workers and compiled them into one sheet.

@Letter_to_Jack The military presence is in fact what keeps everyone in check in that camp. Keep young adults in a crowded area with any form of discipline like that is a doom waiting to happen
From the "Happy to have worked on the NYSC reform" to the "The general has given the command", the trend is consistent; Most elders are clueless and shouldn't be ruling us in any capacity.
They don't even understand the nation's needs.
It's saddening!!!
