The new building to house additional Linear Accelerator capacity for radiotherapy treatments for cancer patients across the East of Scotland is nearing completion at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre @ WGH @NHS_Lothian
A few days left to apply for two very exciting new 8A RT Physics posts at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre @WghLothian Oligomets/Clinical Trials. Wonderful team, wonderful city, and our bins are finally being collected again! #radiotherapy#rtphys https://t.co/lycRMqtwVu
Thanks Christian! @christian_roenn ๐คฉ This talk, from Sat 28th Physics Track profโd papers session on Analysis for toxicity outcomes, can be viewed until 6th Dec for those who missed it! Paper linked here: https://t.co/aPXq9S0jGX

Fantastic talk by Leila Shelley @Lady_Physics on NTCP modelling utilizing finite element to model the delivered dose to the rectum. An interesting approach to learning about the risk of side effects after RT. #ESTRO2020

Kudos to @_TonyMacaroni for your support to the staff at the Western General. We really appreciate the support from businesses. Thank you ! @NHS_Lothian
Thanks to @_TonyMacaroni for proving Edinburgh Cancer Centre @WghLothian with free pizza and pasta after a v tough week! Honoured to be part of such a kind, supportive & dedicated team. In times of crisis we pull together ๐ @NHS_Lothian @ELHFfunds
My top tip to anyone doing a PhD is to NEVER label anything as FINAL. Ever. In fact, this applies to any document. Itโs just going to come back and bite you in the ass!! ๐คฃ๐คฃ #phd#phdchat@PhDForum@AcademicChatter
@joshuajnaylor@ScotRTPhys@VisionRTLtd@NHSHighland@RaySearch Yes, itโs a very nice approach and means more info can be gained from the CBCT when you have partial images or missing regions, ie for dose recalcs when investigating changes in contour. Raigmore seem to have had many unexpected bonuses since implementing SGRT (inc tattooless)!
