He messaged me saying the screen had started flickering and wanted a partial refund. I asked him to bring the phone back so I could see the problem for myself, but he said he’d already taken it to another repair shop.

Now he keeps insisting I should send him some money, and I honestly don’t know if the phone actually developed a fault or if I’m being played.

Should I report this to the police, or just ignore him and move on?
