BREAKING: Democratic superstar Governor Gavin Newsom of California boldly declares that his state will intervene if Donald Trump tries to eliminate the electric vehicle tax credit passed by President Biden.

This is how you throw down the gauntlet...

"Consumers continue to prove the skeptics wrong – zero-emission vehicles are here to stay," Newsom stated. "We will intervene if the Trump Administration eliminates the federal tax credit, doubling down on our commitment to clean air and green jobs in California."

The current law allows consumers to receive a tax credit of up to $7,500 when they buy a new electric, plug-in hybrid, or fuel cell vehicle. They can also receive $4,000 for a used one.

While Trump claims that he hasn't made "any final decisions" on the tax credit, his fossil fuel donors are desperate for him to repeal it to keep us reliant on oil, even if it destroys the planet.
