According to the season .Every one had a favourite meal or something they hated. They knew what was for dinner that night and if they wanted something different they had to provide it themselves-this is my current list (not in order)

Does anyone else love using Alexa for their shopping list ? As I am prepping a meal and notice I am low on something or reading a recipe I just say "Alexa add ...........to my shopping list" and when I next go shopping it is there on my phone 👌

Last night I accidentally let it boil dry ( not the first time ) - it was charcoal inside - I soaked it overnight this morning a little light elbow grease and a scouring pad, it was restored like new - that's what I call value for money

@JohnLewisRetail @michelrouxjr About 27 years ago I mentioned to my husband I wanted a steamer. We were in John Lewis he picked up this one it cost £30 I said that was way too expensive (at the time) he insisted. This has been in almost daily use ever since.

@jen_unwin Much to my mums disgust my husband would put mash potatoes on bred. We were allowed bread if we had eggs bacon & tomatoes (no chips). Cakes were for birthdays & visitors afters was always tinned/fresh fruit never pie or stodge pudding .

@jen_unwin As a child growing up in the early 60's my mum NEVER served bread if we had potatoes of any style on our plate. My husbands family had bread with every meal !!! . Mum always tutted when she saw him eat bread with potatoes

@jen_unwin advice please I am 65 years old weight has steadily increased over past 5 years need to loose 50+lbs pre-diabetic want to eat 'proper food' was brought up in the low fat era but turning away from that ,progress is slow should I look at magnesium supplement

2 letters from @PostOffice @talktoBOI @bankofireland saying they have received refunds for canx flights. My acct is closed when I try to get money from @bankofireland told it would have bounced straight back to sender all 3 senders say @talktoBOI has the money @MartinSLewis Help

@PostOffice I had a Post Office Control current account Which was closed in September2019. Refund from flights and accommodation were actioned May 2020 . @bankofireland wrote asking for where to forward the money . Sent them new A/C nothing recd now say money would have bounced back
