personally I find audiobooks the most pleasurable form of reading. they lull me into an almost hypnotic state. I feel as though I'm listening to a story around a campfire or being soothed to sleep by the lapping of waves against a ship's hull. who wouldn't want that?

We need to re-think how reading has been taught for the past twenty years. We first need to emphasize reading voraciously and for pleasure instead of analyzing random passages in isolation. “We murder to dissect.”

Remember that not everyone thinks about the mistakes of your youth as much as you do. No one is judging you as harshly as you judge yourself. Learn to appreciate how much you’ve changed and grown. Grant yourself the same kindness you so readily give to others.
