@zwhitchcox @yahkinwow @billybrizzle420 If you HAVE to work 80/hrs, it doesn’t pay well. You should be able to sustain comfortably off 40 hours. Any OT should be considered an extra “bonus” and not a necessity.

@OldWorldFaun @billybrizzle420 Even if u were correct they would hire less people & put the work of 2-3 ppl on 1 person, for the same or slightly more pay. Ppl need to work bc the economy sucks & they’ll take what they can get, even if pay isn’t great, it’s a paycheck. Companies know this, they already do this

@billybrizzle420 They’re paying welders who work in dangerous conditions $25/hr what else is there to expect. Garbage men and semi drivers in some places are getting paid around the same. You used to be able to buy a pretty decent middle class homes with those jobs.

@2016archive @StephenFleming Exactly this. Also, it used to be fun to just go on a drive, with no where to go. Driving is not fun anymore with the stupidity and aggressiveness on the road.

@StephenFleming It is interesting, & I do think even if they have no interest in driving, they should still get a drivers license just in case.

However, how people drive on the road is just next level insane conpared to when I got my license 15 years ago, so I don’t entirely blame them.
