@daviddadummy How long was the gap between this checklist and the last sighting of the bird? If there is a long time between records of it at the location with numerous failed attempts at refinding it, this could be a stringer situation.

@Lawrenc57779381 @thatgreenracc Your issue is that you think they’re on H-1Bs. The purpose of the H-1B visa is to provide a path to citizenship for educated, specialized white-collar foreign workers. A poor Guatemalan fast food worker isn’t relevant to this.

@_fat_ugly_rat_ I think Oregon’s actual coastline and beaches are superior to Washington’s. The Washington coastline is flatter and less dramatic. Not sure if this changes anything for you given that the Olympics are in WA, but it’s food for thought.

@switch1e_swoof My theory is that for many people it sounds simply too good to be true. I am a diet soda drinker and my Gen X parents regularly comment on how it will cause cancer despite decades of research failing to find substantial evidence.
