Just witnessed terrifying reports: Kuki militants are now using drone bombings and long-range surface-to-surface missiles to wreak havoc in Manipur. This is not just a local issue anymore—it’s a direct assault on our national security by foreign forces.
Our Security Advisor, Kuldeep Singh, recently shared updates on the government's efforts to counter a new wave of over 900 armed Kuki militants entering from another country if news which was circulated in media is true . But why isn't stronger action being taken against these militants? This is the biggest threat India has faced from foreign-backed militants since Independence.
Who will be held responsible if something happens?
Jiribam attacked yet again by #KukiTerrorist
This started at around 11 am, where the #terrorists started attacking the village of Molbung from two sides using sophisticated guns and bombs
The never ending #KukiTerrorism continue to terrorised the little village which has led to many villagers running away like the two elderly person here in this photo
When will India recognised this acts of #Terrorism and start addressing #KukiTerrorism on a full scale ?
‼️Is this even an Ethinic conflict ?
Or
‼️Just plain kuki aggression on Meitei villagers ?

900 KUKI MILITANTS INFILTRATED MANIPUR FROM MYANMAR, SAYS SECURITY ADVISOR.
Sep 20, 2024, 7:27 PM IST
Security Advisor to the Chief Minister of Manipur, Kuldiep Singh on September 20 confirmed the infiltration of approximately 900 well-trained Kuki militants from Myanmar. Addressing the media today, Singh said that the police department is treating this alarming development with utmost seriousness, implementing necessary precautionary measures to counter potential threats.
Singh’s statements come in response to recent intelligence inputs suggesting a coordinated attack planned for September 28. He announced that a Strategic Operation Group meeting was convened on September 18, involving top officials from various security agencies, including the Army, Assam Rifles, and CRPF, to address these grave security concerns.
"Border security forces, particularly the Assam Rifles, have been placed on high alert in districts bordering Myanmar, such as Pherzawl, Churachandpur, and Kamjong," Singh said. He highlighted the urgent need to monitor areas where militants may possess licensed firearms and explosives, particularly amidst ongoing construction activities.
The Security Advisor criticized former DG PC Nair’s claim regarding the absence of drone usage in recent bombings, labeling it as "his understanding and his problem." Singh indicated that criminal action could follow if formal complaints are filed regarding Nair's statements.
To enhance security measures, Singh reported the deployment of advanced anti-drone systems and jammers, with security forces successfully jamming 15 to 17 drones. Recent security operations have also led to the recovery of seven improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in vulnerable areas.
As tensions continue to rise since early September, Singh reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all citizens in Manipur and called for community support in maintaining peace and stability. The investigation into drone bombing incidents has been forwarded to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for further scrutiny.

"The war is imminent. Our task is to pressure the Government of India and its army to defend the sovereignty and integrity of the nation by protecting Manipur and its indigenous people from the onslaught of the demonic Chin-Kuki narco-terrorist forces."
CAUTION:
The Immigrant Forces and their propagandist in social media will say it’s false and they are their village volunteers.

Today there were many instances of security forces using excessive forces than necessary
The protest carried out by indigenous Manipuris is for Manipur
Keeping in mind why these protests have been intensified they should have restrained themselves
The use of violence by the protesters were also unwarranted for
Obviously it's consequences of KukiZo's escalation to a whole new level with the use of weaponized drones & surface to surface missiles
Some Pro-KukiZos individuals are still trying to defend them in national news media as former DG of Assam Rifles PC Nair
These kinds of unfounded opinions make it rather difficult for peace to prevail in Manipur
KukiZo's baseless demand of Union Territory has already nearly devastated Manipur as it has Crippled the economy
Destroyed many properties
Most importantly many lives were lost

Hello @elonmusk,
We need urgent starlink service in Manipur as internet is being banned from today onwards by the current regime to silence the voice of the people. We need free speech in India too. 🙏

#ManipurDroneAttack | India Today's Ashutosh Mishra takes you to the village, about 30 km from Imphal, where the aggressive wave of violence started on 1 September. Koutruk village in Imphal West district was burnt to ashes after drone attack by suspected Kuki militants. Watch this ground report. #ManipurViolence #ReporterDiary | (@JournoAshutosh)
Manipur Police firmly rejected the misleading claims made by the former DG @official_dgar, Lt. Gen. P.C. Nair, who alleged that no drones were used to drop explosives in #Koutruk and accused the @manipur_police of being divided along ethnic lines. Such statements from Lt. Gen. Nair appears to be an attempt to distort the actual situation on the ground and create confusion rather than presenting an accurate picture.
By insisting that drones were not involved despite clear evidence to the contrary, Lt. Gen. Nair demonstrates a troubling bias that aligns more with a divisive narrative than with the facts. His unfounded assertion that the #Manipur Police is no longer a united law enforcement body but rather fragmented along ethnic lines only serves to inflame tensions and undermine the credibility of a force striving to maintain order amidst a complex situation.
Manipur Police rightly called out Lt. Gen. Nair for his attempts to present a skewed version of events that could mislead the public and international observers. Such biased reporting not only disrespects the efforts of the police on the ground but also disregards the real challenges they face in dealing with #Violence and maintaining peace. Lt. Gen. Nair's remarks appear to serve a specific agenda rather than fostering understanding and cooperation, revealing a stark deviation from the principles of unbiased and responsible reporting.

The recent interview of Lt. Gen. P.C. Nair (Retd), former DG of #AssamRifles, to a news channel alludes to the malaise that this oldest paramilitary force in the country suffers from and the utter lack of coordination of the security agencies, including the Union Armed forces, and their concomitant failure to rein in the 15 months old unprecedented violence in Manipur.
To cite one example, his versions on the recent escalation of violence in the state (starting on 1st September, 2024) is different from that of the State Police official statements clearly points to that sheer lack of coordination among the security forces and their consequent failure to rein in the 15 months long violence in Manipur. Contradicting the widely circulated reports, eyewitness accounts and official statements from the Home Department and State police, he seems to dismiss the claim that there were aerial assaults using rockets/missiles as well as weaponized drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Incidentally, one "Kuki" leader has admitted, rather boastfully, in the media, that they have used such weapons to attack civilians and security forces.
This interview of the former DG of Assam Rifles also reminds us that his version is of a man who once headed the paramilitary force sans its operational command - to the best of my knowledge, the operational command of the Assam Rifles does not rest with the DG of the Assam Rifle, a post Lt. Gen Nair (Retd.) was in charge till recently but it's with the regular army under the GOC 3 Corps.
This interview, unfortunately, comes to me as a PR exercise to cover up the failure to rein in the violence and reports of impropriety associated with Assam Rifles. Our generals and civilian officers must know that lack of trust deficit is an issue that we must tackle so that state institutions, including forces like Assam Rifles, are not harmed. Being defensive or seeking to deflect or cover up shortcomings helps no one.
It is also instructive that he says that the security forces can rein in the violence, quite obviously which has not been the case so far, but the ultimate solution is with the "people"! This is quite revealing as most of the security officers usually say that the ultimate solution lies with the political leadership or political executive! This reluctance to name the political executive is, to say the least, quite instructive to understand the what, how, why and wherefore of this prolonged violent crisis in the state of Manipur.

Protesting woman is asking the police officials and army men to shoot her with all their bullets instead of shooting the student protestors in Manipur.
The student-led protest turned violent today (September 10) as demonstrators clashed with police forces, resulting in multiple injuries. The unrest began as the deadline for a key demand expired at 1 pm which compelled the students and their supporters to march towards the Governor’s residence.
The protest escalated quickly when the students, frustrated by the lack of response, attempted to advance towards the Governor’s office around 2 pm.
Police intervened after the protesters had moved a short distance, blocking their way and urging them to appoint representatives for dialogue.
