Looking at the direction of her home, our 'Abok' (grandma) is calling for her birthplace.

As Kuki initiated attacks on several villages, many Meitei families left their home and took shelter in other villages. They became homeless in their land.

In this viral video, she is calling for her home and her village which lies across the river. She is now residing in some other village. Remembering the sweet memories of her life, she is crying and saying " am i not gonna be able to stay in my own home?"

Today, it is very much important for us to focus on the integrity of Manipur. However, Rahul Gandhi somehow slipped his tongue and spoke out to the media that Manipur is now "2 states" just to blame the BJP Government.

@RahulGandhi you are wrong, please dont do politics over this crisis and we dont need further separation. During your last visit, you could have tried to convince both the community (which you never did) if you have guts. But today, you blame your enemy by carrying a deeper message to disintegrate Manipur.

You may be able to see Manipur breaking into 16 districts from the old 9 during your congress regime. However, we will never welcome the idea of 'separation' any further.

Right from day one, with those images of people with sophisticated weapons and houses of Meiteis being burnt down in Torbung areas that appeared on social media in real time in the afternoon of 3rd May, much before the violence erupted in Imphal in the late evening, anybody would know that there was something about this violence, an aspect that was almost lost in the midst of propagandist disinformation.

Zomi militant groups for Manipur unrest as talks continue.

The militant organizations have been identified as:
- Kuki National Army (KNA),
- Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA),
- Kuki National Front (Nehlun faction) and
- United Kuki Liberation Army.

NIA is probing these groups as forces behind the unrest in Manipur.

These groups intend to hive off an independent
Chin-Kuki-Zomi state out of Manipur, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Two of these groups are under suspension of operation (SoO) agreement with the government.

These groups are getting FOREIGN support from People’s Defence Force (PDF) in Myanmar with weapons and ammunition which are coming from Myanmar and some other north east states

These groups have allegedly been providing training to local people and armed men have been pushed to the foothills to target people in the Valley

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched investigations into at least three Kuki militant organizations and one Zomi militant group suspected of fomenting trouble in Manipur's northeastern state. This investigation is being conducted on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), which is concerned that these organizations are scheming to form an independent Chin-Kuki-Zomi state carved out of Manipur, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.

The order to initiate this investigation was issued in July, and the NIA has been rigorously investigating the linkages between these militant organisations and the current bloodshed in Manipur since then. The Kuki National Army (KNA), Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA), Kuki National Front (Nehlun faction), and United Kuki Liberation Army are the militant organizations under investigation.

It should be noted that the KNA and ZRA were formerly subject to a Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement with the government. For several years, the MHA had been in contact with their political representatives. Initially, these talks were intended to secure a peace agreement with tribal people in Manipur's mountainous highlands. However, negotiations have shifted back to restoring normalcy in the state and pursuing a political solution to the protracted issue since May. The involvement of the NIA in examining their operations could put tremendous pressure on these organizations.
