My friend quit his ₹1.5 lakh/month job in Mumbai.

@firstpost Instead of tightening exit rules, govt should incentivise.

Must abolish taxes for govt scientists with immediate effect,this will rise their pay by 30%.

It makes them feel privileged and reduce resignations drastically.

Better to reduce taxes on STEM to reduce brain drain.

Most of govt jobs are underpaying like revenue , police. The pay is not enough for basic expenses nowadays. This is the main reason for corruption, no wonder they take bribes.

Pay govt officials well so that they don’t need to take bribes.

@biased_human You can’t beat market with nationalism. It’s damn true.Govt have to pay well to scientists and give them tax benefits make them feel proud of working for India. Quality education, healthcare all are expensive for their family so they choose better pay can’t blame them.

@biased_human @Ashwij10 It’s time to stop dramatising poverty. Most of these women send their kids to private schools they don’t like govt school but want schemes. They own gold jewel worth lakhs.They give dwakra loans money for interest.
Ground reality is pretty different.

@biased_human @Ashwij10 To say frankly 99% of those schemes go to frauds, I see in our villages how well people misuse. Women are empowered govt don’t have to give them pocket money, they can earn. If govt want to then employ them and pay.Lot of work to be done, so employ and pay not free money.

When a person earns 50crores from agriculture won’t he need to pay taxes?

Agriculture income should be taxable.

It’s not gonna collect tax from small farmers as they are well within limits but we can definitely tax big fish who are using this loophole in tax.

@venkat_fin9 Business people show all expenses before paying taxes but salaried pay taxes before even they get salary in hand .
Govt assume salaried don’t have any expenses. They are still in 1900s in terms of exemptions like 80C.Taxing like developed nation.

We are made to pay premium everywhere , in taxes as you earn and healthcare as you can spend , now for petrol

@biased_human Even in cities most of middle class still go DMart. Going to DMart is like emotion for them.They don’t want to pay handling charges to insta services.
On the other hand higher income groups use Blinkit and Swiggy as they want convince over price difference.

The reality of free bus scheme is South is so bad that students who have to go to schools and colleges can’t board those buses due to massive crowds. It’s big dent on RTC revenue.

Most of the well educated people earning lakhs even crores per year making disastrous financial decisions in their life as their curriculum never teaches them how to manage money.

…but don’t teach:

• Income Tax
• Health Insurance
• Home Loans
• Credit Scores
• Basic Investing
• CPR

These are things almost everyone will use.
