Fact Check:

Gozalavidu (Podili) stone inscription by Idumakanti Gangi Reddi (local officer to Bukka), (issued c. 1314 CE) clearly states Bukkaraya Odeya ruling Nellore as chieftain.

This clearly establishes, Bukka as a subordinate of Imperial Kakatiyas under Emperor Prataparudra Deva (c. 1289–1323 CE).

Kanchi to Bellary to Raichur was then under Kakatiyas. Hoysalas had marital relations with Kakatiyas.

Harihara and Bukka worked as treasurers to Kakatiyas (Nunez too confirmed it).

Post Kakatiya fall, Kampli too fell immediately and Harihara and Bukka were captured as prisoners of war by Tuglaq armies and were converted to Islam.

The 75 Nayaks of Andhra Desa united under the great Prolaya Nayaka to avenge Prataparudra.

Musunuri Nayaks re-established Warangal back as capital, defeating Delhi sultanate.

Converted Harihara and Bukka, were sent by Delhi back as Governors (just as they sent converted Gannama Nayak (aka Malik Maqbul Telingani) were reconverted back to Hinduism by Sage Vidyaranya Svami of Warangal (who later became Shankaracharya of Sringeri) under Musunuri Nayaks.

Backed by 75 Nayaks, Harihara and Bukka were selected to lead the new Vijayanagara Empire.

The same Nayaka System of Kakatiyas was carry forwarded as Amara Nayaka system in Vijayanagara.
