Fired government scientists just launched a new site to keep climate data public.

The site is called https://t.co/XOMtDzHuNb, and it was created by former staffers behind https://t.co/hGMlJqNUb0, the NOAA-run website long used by researchers, journalists, teachers, planners and insurers for trusted climate information.

The new nonprofit site went fully active this week as a clone of https://t.co/hGMlJqNUb0.

It includes around 15 years of climate and weather data, articles, illustrated reports and access to government-mandated climate assessments.

The effort comes after the Trump administration redirected https://t.co/hGMlJqNUb0 to a different NOAA page and fired most of the staff behind it, making years of public climate information much harder to access.

Rebecca Lindsey, the managing director of the new site, said trusted climate information should not disappear when politics change.

So far, more than 2,500 donors have contributed about $250,000 to fund the platform. Around 80 scientists and subject-matter experts have also signed on to review its content.

Former NOAA administrator Richard Spinrad said the value of https://t.co/hGMlJqNUb0 “cannot be overstated” and said https://t.co/XOMtDzHuNb will help continue the work of providing essential climate data and services.

Last night, in a massive warehouse just outside Edmonton, something extraordinary happened. Fifteen thousand Canadians showed up—not for a concert, not for a protest, but for a political rally. For one reason: to hear Pierre Poilievre speak. But the real shock? The man who introduced him.

Stephen Harper—the most successful Conservative prime minister in a generation—took the stage to deliver a blistering endorsement of Poilievre, and a scathing indictment of the Liberal regime.

He didn’t mince words. Harper said what every Canadian knows but no one in the press gallery will admit: this country needs change—desperately.

And he didn’t hedge. He didn’t qualify. Canadian ‘American Pie’ actress Jasmine Mooney was literally detained by Donald Trump’s ICE agents at the US-Mexico border and jailed for 12 days. And she's confused as to why.

She was forced to sleep on concrete floors and said that she felt like she was being kidnapped.

ICE Agents simply said that she was treated in accordance with how the Trump administration would like.

She was detained by ICE at the border when she attempted to renew her visa. According to Mooney, after returning home from Los Angeles, she discovered her visa had been revoked, preventing her from boarding a flight. To resolve the issue, she went directly to the border seeking a renewal. However, ICE agents detained her, alleging she lacked proper documentation to legally stay in the U.S. They then put her in jail cells for 12 days.
