dox-populi explores the potential for an emerging accessibility of formal methods with the confluence of detnix, paradox and the klanker. This is the first blog post. @fresheyeball@DeterminateSys https://t.co/4oVCPr4Fm6
I just got the opportunity to talk about sashamud in front of either a handful of people or hundreds depending on if the remote meeting thing works out. I told the show runner he'll need to wait for the demos to be done.
I always knew academic philosophers were talking about all kinds of bullshit, but I had no idea how upfront they were about it. They're not even trying to hide it at this point!
today is a really sad day. no C++26 this year :(
come on bros let me have reflection PLEASE. compromise idea: C++26.5 where we sneak in just reflection
A big shout out to all who laboured like heroes and hand wrote the hundreds of thousands of lines of Coq (Rocq) and Lean which trained the models which now finally make formalization at scale feasible. Statues should be raised.
@avi_press No, it's not about compilation speed but time to delivery and code correctness. And expressiveness, see time to delivery. But this is just for my personal projects. If it's someone else's and it's a rust project, then rust it is.
@bcardarella@JustDeezGuy I wouldn't do that today but at the time I had specific career goals that required me to be able to say I had haskell code in a company's repo.
@acadictive the project is tightly bound to nixos by design but I do not require people to install nixos, I wil provide an easily accessible qcow file for qemu
I want them to love how solid agentic engineering skills are theirs for the taking, no matter what anyone says. I'ma follow your suggestion I can use all the reach I can get. It's not quite ready for your website but will be soon. I want them to be able to download my repo and go. not there yet.
@JustDeezGuy@bcardarella Hey I'm a stubborn bastard too! Ask me sometime about how much social capital it cost me to introduce haskell into a perl shop.
