@topcat1460@kylegriffin1 We do get some from the US but most comes from the TransCanada pipeline from Western Canada. I believe there is a section that travels through the US that goes to southwestern Ontario (London) that could potentially be shut off.

@tleehumphrey RRSP’s are taxed as ordinary income, not capital gains. So the new cap gains rules don’t apply here. If you have a lot of non registered investments, then gains over $250k would be taxed at the new higher rate.
