Lucy Frazer is screeching all over TV this morning about the BBC not being impartial (right wing) enough.

Robbie Gibb was Head of Comms for Theresa May, friend of Johnson, brother of Minister Nick Gibb, and instrumental in start up of GB News. He's now overly influential in BBC.

Dorries claimed he also tried to influence the appointment of the new head of OFCOM.

@arusbridger has been attempting to get a response from the BBC on Gibb's interference, but so far, no response has been forthcoming.

Here, former top BBC journalist Rob Burley writes "Robbie Gibb 'tried to stop me from probing £350m VOTE LEAVE BUS CLAIM'" when Gibb worked at BBC as editor.

@arusbridger Buck House not suitable as a location BUT a purpose built modern parliament building is long overdue. Westminster turned into a public building & new parliament in a more appropriate location with electronic voting, individual seats etc etc

Given the upset the Home Secretary caused in government when not securing Downing St approval for her Times opinion piece, presumably the PM did approve this tweet by @SuellaBraverman. Which would mean that “other forms of racism” is the new official government phrase for “Islamophobia” - which is all the more striking since Braverman does call out hateful antisemitism by name.
