The march to Parliament was no coincidence. It was premeditated, orchestrated and politically sponsored by parties whose leaders had already descended on Jantar Mantar in a bid to revive their fading political fortunes.

What was projected as a students’ movement was steadily converted into a political spectacle. The objective was never merely to seek justice for students, but to manufacture confrontation, fuel disorder and undermine democratic institutions.

India’s democracy cannot be held hostage by street vetoes or political opportunism. Those attempting to exploit students for partisan ends will not succeed.

India will reject this politics of anarchy. India will prevail.
