Behind every local business is a story, an idea and a goal to grow. At the @CityBrampton’s Reverse Vendor Tradeshow yesterday, businesses, entrepreneurs and community partners had the opportunity to learn how their work can support City services, projects and procurement opportunities. 🤝
This annual event opens doors for local vendors by helping them ask questions, meet City staff and better understand how to do business with the City. These opportunities help strengthen Brampton’s business community, build stronger partnerships and support economic growth across #Brampton. 💙

"All we want for Christmas is a decent pension plan": SickKids staff once again made it clear that they won't accept a poverty-level pension plan. Workers want the standard pension plan that hospital workers across Ontario already enjoy.
Don't stand by while this government privatizes hospital surgeries, doubles their costs, extends wait lists and bends access to the wealthy. Join the event in your community to demand the province invest in its public hospitals.
Leonora Foster has been working at SickKids for 36 years. If she retires next year, her current pension plan would provide a monthly payment of $1,930. She has joined the call for SickKids to switch the HOOPP, where her monthly payments would be $3,000
