The bassist played with Prince. The drummer played with D'Angelo. The guitarist is one of the best young blues players alive.

Billy Strings' inaugural Ionia Freak Fair was a massive success.

When Dolly Parton approached Robert Plant for permission to record her version of “Stairway to Heaven,” she reportedly worried about how he would react. Instead, Plant’s response was wonderfully simple: “Of course you can, you’re Dolly Parton.”
And somehow, that feels like the perfect answer. Dolly didn’t try to copy Led Zeppelin — she took one of rock’s most iconic songs and made it unmistakably her own, adding a touch of country, gospel, and her unmistakable voice.
Sometimes, a legend recognizing another legend is all the permission you need.
Dave Matthews did some “begging” to get Sierra Ferrell to stay in Minnesota for Dave Matthews Band's Mystic Lake Amphitheater debut.
Good call.

Conan O'Brien: "When does this thing that's going to happen happen?"
Seth Rogen: "Well, we'll wait a few minutes and see how you feel, and then maybe you have a little bit more if you're still functional."

Thinking of Bob Weir today on the anniversary of his last public show at GD 60.
There's a wholesome moment at 1:07 where Bob drops his guitar pick and Mayer picks it up for him and they continue ripping into I Know You Rider without missing a beat.

When Will Ferrell and Jeff Goldblum went live with SNL's "Space: The Infinite Frontier with Harry Caray" sketch, the first part was scripted and on cue cards for both actors, but halfway through, Ferrell started improv'ing insane questions and you can see Goldblum holding on for dear life answering them 😂 I forget how good this era of SNL really was
When Dire Straits took the stage at Live Aid in '85, most fans had no idea why Sting joined them, but when he started singing the opening lyrics to "Money For Nothing", they realized it was his voice on the radio hit which widely went unnoticed til then 🔥 Goosebumps when Mark Knopfler finally plays that guitar riff and the crowd takes over for the drums.
