Since ad blocking quit working in Chrome, I set up a pi-hole (https://t.co/txF9E0P9fq). It is fantastic. Blocks for my family and everyone on my network. Should have set it up long ago.
"Move fast and break things" is outdated advice for startups.
Software ate the world—and there's more competition than ever.
Our startup learned the hard way to ignore this advice, and this is what happened:
The government crushed it:
“Depositors will have access to all of their money starting Monday, March 13. No losses associated with the resolution of Silicon Valley Bank will be borne by the taxpayer.”
I've been deleting email and unsubscribing things for the last two days. Emptying my trash now (200k+ messages). If GMail goes down, it was me. Sorry. Google said it was getting full, and I'd have to pay $3/month.
Bud Light walked right into this one:
Molson Coors is appealing the decision, saying it "vehemently disagrees with this decision because we believe light beer should taste like beer, not water, and we are well within our right to share that belief." A spokesperson also questioned to Anheuser-Busch's "sudden concern" with the ad since it hasn't aired since last August.

Two racks. My friends, it fits in *two racks*. I love the cloud as much as the next person, but $7m over five years to run a workload that will fit in *two racks* makes me want to sleep for a year. Fully automating two racks was not hard. https://t.co/yhFcduScq5
@typesfast I like the idea, but opted for the Anker in this case for a bigger battery. Big benefit of MagSafe chargers is charging with a wet lightning port.
@mouthofmorrison We have been, and continue to grow at onXmaps. We build outdoor mobile mapping apps. Apply at https://t.co/dbq6EDYl0m or get in touch with any questions.
On Mac, I use both a mouse and a trackpad. I like scrolling to be "traditional" on the mouse, and "natural" on the trackpad. BetterTouchTool is currently the best way to set this up. https://t.co/m3WX6XQFWO Lots of other features, but this is the only one I use.
Today, youChat goes live.
