I've seen the problems that can come from kids having smartphones at school. My child was bullied and harassed by other kids during school. They used their phones to do it.
Do you mean "responsible" kids can have their phones at school?
One of my financial accounts got hacked today. Probably a result of the massive National Public Data breach. The would-be crooks tried to redeem my rewards points. Check those if you get any credit card account alerts.
