대한민국 국민들의 상식 수준에 미치지 못하는 악덕 사업주에게는 반드시 책임을 묻겠습니다. 악덕 사업주들의 외국인 노동자 고용을 시작 단계부터 더 엄격하게 제한합니다.

지난해 2월 외국인 노동자를 지게차에 매달거나, 올해 초 외국인 노동자의 신체에 에어건을 분사하는 등 비인간적인 인권침해 범죄 사건이 발생하는 것을 막기 위해서입니다.

법무부는 관련 법령을 개정해 그동안 근로기준법 위반으로 금고 이상의 형을 선고받은 경우에만 3년 동안 외국인 노동자 고용을 제한해 왔으나, 관련 법령을 개정해 앞으로는 500만 원 이상의 벌금형만 받아도 제재를 가하기로 했습니다.

산업안전보건법이나 중대재해처벌법을 위반한 ���업주도 마찬가지입니다.

인구소멸시대에 합법적으로 고용된 외국인 노동자들은 일손이 부족한 산업, 농업 현장에 단비 같은 ��중한 인력입니다. 노동자의 권리를 짓밟은 사업장에 외국인 노동자를 아무 제한 없이 고용할 수 있도록 하는 것은 대한민국의 법치 수준과 상식을 벗어나는 일입니다.

글로벌 시대, 선진 대한민국의 위상에 맞도록 법무부는 노동 현장의 불법과 인권침해에 대해서는 분명한 책임을 묻겠습니다.

G7 정상회의를 계기로 윌리엄 루토 케냐 대통령님과 처음 만났습니다. 1964년 수교 이후 다양한 분야에서 쌓아온 협력 관계를 토대로, 양국 관계의 도약을 모색한 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

케냐는 대한민국의 동아프리카 지역 중점 협력국입니다. 그 중요성에 걸맞게, 양국은 경제·투자, 핵심 광물, 인프라, 개발 협력, 과학·ICT 등 다방면에서 호혜적인 협력을 계속 확대해 나가기로 뜻을 모았습니다.

루토 대통령님께선 이미 두 차례나 방한한 적이 있을 만큼 한국과의 협력을 중시하고 계셨고, 전쟁�� 폐허를 딛고 성장한 대한민국의 발전 경험에 대해 큰 관심을 보여주셨습니다. 그동안 쌓아온 신뢰와 유대감을 토대로 앞으로 더욱 교류와 협력을 늘려갈 수 있길 바랍니다.

I met President @williamsruto of Kenya for the first time on the sidelines of the G7 Summit.
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1964, Korea and Kenya have built a strong partnership across a wide range of fields. Our meeting provided a valuable opportunity to explore ways to further advance bilateral relations.

As one of Korea’s key partners in East Africa, Kenya plays an important role in our engagement with the region. We agreed to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in areas including trade and investment, critical minerals, infrastructure, development cooperation, science, and ICT.

Having visited Korea twice, President Ruto places great importance on cooperation with Korea and expressed keen interest in our journey from the devastation of war to economic growth and development.

Building on the trust and friendship we have cultivated over the years, I look forward to further deepening exchanges and cooperation between our two countries.

Encerramos hoje a participação do Brasil nas agendas do G7, na França.

Na última reunião de trabalho, debatemos a regulação do ambiente digital. Reafirmei a posição do Brasil em defesa da proteção de crianças e mulheres, ressaltando os esforços na aprovação do ECA Digital, e da construção de um ambiente digital mais seguro e democrático. Também tratamos da importância de garantir que os avanços tecnológicos estejam a serviço da população.

Ao final, fiz uma reunião bilateral com o Secretário-Geral da INTERPOL, Valdecy Urquiza, e depois conversei com a imprensa sobre os resultados destes dias de reuniões bilaterais e da Cúpula do G7, reforçando o compromisso do governo brasileiro com o diálogo, a cooperação internacional para combate ao crime organizado transnacional e a construção de soluções para os desafios do nosso tempo.

어제 저녁 트럼프 대통령님과 @realDonaldTrump만찬을 함께 하며 약 90분 간 한반도 평화와 한미관계를 놓고 속 깊은 이야기를 나누고 많은 진전이 있었습니다.

오늘 마지막 오찬에서는 지금까지 사용하고 있던 서명용 펜을 제게 선물로 주셨습니다. 아마도 처음 정상회담때 제가 쓰던 펜을 선물 받은 기억 때문이 아닐까 생각됩니다.

어제 만찬때 ���프 얘기를 하며 우리 부부와 골프를 함께 하겠다고 하여 아내가 손가락 걸고 약속을 받았는데,
오늘 오찬후 헤어지면서 다시 골프를 꼭 함께 하자고 하셨습니다. 지나가는 말인줄 알았는데 준비를 해야할 것 같습니다.

각별히 관심 가져주신 트럼프 대통령님께 감사드립니다.
한미관계는 단단하고 영원합니다.

7개월 만에 프리드리히 메르츠 독일 총리와 다시 만났습니다. 양국 관계의 미래에 대한 건설적 논의를 나눌 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

한국과 독일은 수교 이후 140여 년간 우호 협력 관계를 단단히 발전시켜 왔습니다. 그 결과 자동차, 반도체, 바이오부터 통상·투자 분야에 이르기까지 다방면에 걸친 긴밀한 협력을 구축하고 있습니다.

양국은 기존의 굳건한 협력을 토대로 AI, 에너지, 방산 등 미래 먹거리를 책임질 첨단산업 분야의 전략적 협력을 한층 확대해 나가기로 했습니다. 공급망 안정, 기후위기 등 글로벌 과제에 대한 공조도 계속 강화해 나갈 것입니다.

독일 경제계가 주최하는 ‘아태비즈니스 회의’가 올해 10월 한국에서 열리는 만큼, 양국 간 호혜적 경제협력의 지평이 한 단계 더 넓어질 것으로 기대합니다.

아울러 메르츠 총리께서는 한반도 평화와 안정을 위한 협력의 의지를 보여주셨습니다. 분단의 아픔을 공유하고 있는 독일이기에, 그 의미가 더욱 남다르다고 생각합니다.

앞으로도 메르츠 총리님과 더 자주 소통하며, 공동 번영과 평화를 위한 지혜를 함께 모으겠습니다.

It was a pleasure to meet Chancellor Friedrich Merz(@bundeskanzler) again, seven months after our last meeting, and to exchange concrete views on the future of our bilateral relationship.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the Republic of Korea and the Federal Republic of Germany have built a strong and enduring partnership over more than 140 years. Today, our cooperation spans a wide range of areas, from automobiles, semiconductors, and biotechnology to trade and investment.

Building on this solid foundation, we agreed to further expand our strategic cooperation in industries that will shape the future, including AI, energy, and defense. We will also continue to strengthen coordination in addressing global challenges such as supply chain resilience and climate change.

With the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business set to take place in Korea this October, I look forward to further expanding the horizons of mutually beneficial economic cooperation between our two countries.

Chancellor Merz also expressed Germany’s commitment to working together for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. Given Germany’s own experience with division, I believe this carries special significance.

캐나다는 자유와 평화를 위해 함께 싸워준 소중한 친구이자, 한반도 평화와 번영에 기여해 온 핵심 우방국입니다. 이러한 ���은 신뢰와 유대감을 토대로, 양국의 협력 관계는 점차 지평을 넓혀가고 있습니다.

방산 강국이자 첨단 산업 기술력을 보유한 대한민국이야말로 캐나다의 방산 역량을 강화하고, 에너지 강국으로의 발전을 도울 최적의 파트너라 확신합니다. 총리님께서 강조해 오신 ‘유사 입장국 연대’를 추진하는 과정에서도 양국의 호혜적 협력이 빛을 발할 것이라 생각합니다.

I met with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney of Canada. I still vividly remember attending last year's G7 Summit at Prime Minister Carney's invitation, making it especially meaningful to meet him again one year later at my second G7 Summit.

Canada is a cherished friend that fought alongside with Korea in defense of freedom and peace, and a key partner that has contributed to peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula. Built on deep trust and a strong bond, our two countries continue to broaden the horizons of cooperation.

I am confident that the Republic of Korea—a global leader in the defence industry with advanced industrial capabilities—is the ideal partner to help strengthen Canada's defence capabilities and support its growth into an energy powerhouse. I also believe our mutually beneficial cooperation will shine even brighter as we advance the "solidarity among like-minded countries" that Prime Minister Carney has championed.

I also congratulate Canada on its successful hosting of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. Just as the 2002 World Cup brought great joy and pride to the Korean people, I hope this tournament will serve as a celebration that unites people around the world and brings lasting joy to Canadians.

참정권 침해는 중대한 것으로 엄정한 조사와 책임 추궁이 있어야 합니다.

그러나 최근 올림픽공원에서 일부 인원들이 경찰과 일반 시민, 기자, 체육회 직원과 선수들을 상대로 벌이고 있는 무차별적인 사적 검문과 위협, 사실상의 감금과 근거 없는 중국인 몰이, 업무방해 행위는 모두 명백한 불법행위이고 현행범으로 처벌의 대상입니다.

성숙하고 품격 있게 자신의 의사를 표시하고 있는 다수 청년들과 시민들의 얼굴에 먹칠을 하는 일입니다.

참정권 침해에 대한 국민들의 정당한 분노를 빌미로 일부가 저지르고 있는 이런 도 넘는 일탈과 불법행위에 대해서는 엄중하게 대응해 나가겠습니다.

이미 경찰도 대표선수들과 기자를 향해 벌어진 강요와 폭행 등에 대해 수사에 착수한 것으로 알고 있습니다. 기소 및 처벌에 만전을 기하겠습니다.

이어 파롤린 교황청 국무원장님을 예방해 ���반도 평화를 비롯한 국제사회의 여러 도전과 과제에 대해 의견을 나누었습니다. 또한 내년 서울에서 열리는 세계청년대회의 원활한 준비를 위해 더욱 긴밀히 협력해 나가기로 했습니다.

평신도들의 자발적 신앙으로 시작된 한국 가톨릭은 수많은 시련과 박해를 이겨내며 우리 사회에 공동선과 연대의 가치를 전해 왔습니다. 그 거룩한 역사를 되새기며, 오늘날 세계가 직면한 불확실성과 도전 역시 함께라면 충분히 극복해 나갈 수 있다고 확신했습니다.

Sua Santità Papa Leone XIV, durante il suo mandato come Superiore Generale dell’Ordine di Sant’Agostino, ha visitato la Corea in cinque occasioni, manifestando un particolare interesse per il nostro Paese. Per questo motivo, l’incontro odierno si è svolto in un clima cordiale e accogliente, tanto da rendere pressoché irrilevante il fatto che si trattasse della prima Udienza.

Successivamente, mi sono recato in visita dal Segretario di Stato della Santa Sede, Sua Eminenza il Cardinale Parolin, con cui ho avuto uno scambio di opinioni sulle principali sfide e responsabilità della comunità internazionale, inclusa la questione della pace nella penisola coreana. Abbiamo inoltre concordato di rafforzare ulteriormente la cooperazione per garantire l'ottima organizzazione della Giornata Mondiale della Gioventù che si terrà a Seoul il prossimo anno.

La Chiesa cattolica coreana, nata dalla fede spontanea dei laici, ha attraversato numerose prove e persecuzioni, trasmettendo alla nostra società i valori del bene comune e della solidarietà. Ripercorrendo questa storia di fede, abbiamo maturato la convinzione che anche le incertezze e le sfide che il mondo affronta oggi possano essere superate se affrontate insieme.

Conserverò a lungo nel cuore il momento di grazia trascorso in Vaticano. Auspico che la Repubblica di Corea e la Santa Sede possano continuare a camminare insieme verso un futuro migliore, quali partner impegnati nella promozione della pace, della solidarietà, della dignità umana e del bene comune. 위대한 대한국민 여러분께서 만들어주신 대한민국의 힘을 바탕으로 우리의 국익을 굳건히 지키고, 세계 평화와 번영에 기여하는 책임 있는 역할을 다하겠습니다.

It feels like only yesterday that, shortly after taking office last June, I attended the G7 Summit and shared with the world the image of a Republic of Korea that had restored its democracy. A year has already passed, and today I am once again heading to Évian, France, where the G7 Summit 2026 will be held.

Being invited to the G7 Summit for the second consecutive year is a deeply meaningful testament to the trust and expectations that the international community places in the Republic of Korea. I will engage in in-depth discussions with the leaders of the G7 members and invited countries on the defining issues of our time, including international partnerships and solidarity, more balanced economic growth, and the future of AI and emerging technologies.

Building on the strength of the Republic of Korea made possible by our great people, I will firmly safeguard our national interests and faithfully fulfill our responsible role in contributing to global peace and prosperity.

The Republic of Korea is no longer a country that simply follows change, but one that creates change and leads the future. I will proudly convey to the world our stronger resilience and confidence, and return home.

교황님께서는 한 청년이 내민 포켓�� 카드에도 기꺼이 사인을 해주실 만큼 따뜻하고 격의 없는 분입니다. 이처럼 작은 친절과 다정함이 사람과 사람 사이의 거리를 좁히고, 나아가 세상을 더욱 평화롭게 만든다고 믿습니다.

Il Santo Padre �� una persona dall’animo generoso, che, senza formalismi, accoglie con benevolenza anche il gesto di firmare una carta Pokémon che un giovane gli porge. Credo che tali piccoli atti di gentilezza e affetto avvicinino le persone tra loro e contribuiscano, inoltre, a rendere il mondo più pacifico.

La Toscana , cuore della cultura e dell’arte italiane, è custode di un patrimonio culturale di valore mondiale, a cominciare dalla Galleria degli Uffizi. Questa regione è inoltre un solido partner di scambio culturale, avendo promosso sin da tempo il Florence Korea Film Fest, che ha contribuito a far conoscere in Europa e nel mondo il valore artistico e la qualità del cinema coreano.

L’accordo di coproduzione cinematografica tra Corea e Italia, concordato in occasione di questa visita, costituirà una base solida per offrire ai cittadini dei nostri due Paesi esperienze culturali ancora più diversificate. Sono certo che le eccellenti capacità culturali di entrambe le nazioni genereranno una forte sinergia.

Ogni anno numerosi cittadini coreani scelgono la Toscana alla ricerca di libertà e romanticismo.
