@rachbarnhart Rachel, I am disgusted. Rents in this city have quadrupled. Folks are paying 900 a month tor more to live on Conkey Avenue or Hollenbeck Street in housing that is falling apart from disrepair. I grew up on Conkey Avenue in a decent double in the 80's.

@rachbarnhart Now those same properties that used to be two side by side properties have been divided into 6 or 7 units with no true private living space, without proper parking, shared gas and electric meters. one tenant unknowingly paying for multiple units gas and electricity.

Let's face it, everyone has their own house to care for, the days of lots if extra to support others are over. Churches are not rich, they have obligations too.
