With the portal slowing down for awhile and a large percent of the ‘23 high school class already signing in the fall, we shift our attention to the ‘24 class.

This finally went public. I had heard late last night it was 100%.

Alabama fans can say whatever they need to feel better about this but Alabama was ranked 13th in total defense while playing 2 of the top 8 total offenses in the country (OM and TN). It’s an upgrade for ole miss.

Pete Golding is leaving @AlabamaFTBL to replace Chris Partridge as defensive coordinator at @OleMissFB, sources tell ESPN. Golding has been with Nick Saban at Alabama since 2018, the last four seasons as defensive coordinator.

Alabama’s defense had 900 snaps played this year (12th most in the country).

Alabama’s defense surrendered only 4,137 total yards this year (ranked 15th in the country).

Alabama’s defense only gave up 4.6 yards per play which ranked 4th.
