I use about 9 separate IT systems on a daily basis, and spend much of my day logging into these systems. I never log out, I am regularly automatically logged out, of everything.
It’s logging in, all day long.
Single sign on has been rolled out, but it is so slow, I end up logging in myself.
It makes no sense to me to promise a ‘patient app’, according to the DoH strategy (https://t.co/jQjS3c4DHo ) when there is no EHR to support this.
Adding more separate IT programmes that do not talk to each other, and attempting to patch things together, is not the right way forward.
An EHR, and the IT staff to support an EHR, is obviously required.
@saoltagroup @TFIupdates@PamelaNormoyle Well done-shuttle bus for staff is sanity sparing in relation to Galway Traffic-really good example of what can work well
