What can you do with languages? Negotiate international deals. Make literature or sport universally available. Represent people in court. Promote scientific research. See history from another angle. Sell your product or services. Win people over. What can't you do with languages?
Hi Emma, yes, all well thank you. I have considered the Goethe Institute but it's in Glasgow, and I was hoping for something closer. I may give them a call.
When you learn a language, your world gets a little bit bigger. You understand other people a little bit more. You're even better at almost anything else. You discover new food, fun, music, lifestyles, opinions, politics & even other languages. You become a citizen of the world.
This professional learning webinar will be delivered by SCILT development officers and Scotdec, with plenty of opportunities for teachers to discuss themes, methodologies, approaches and resources which support a Global Citizenship approach to languages: https://t.co/SmXGww52IE
