We'll be spending a lot more time trying to understand the outputs of language models. A few thoughts, tips & tricks:

Writing. Something I've had success with: Ask your LLM to explain something in ASD-STE100, it's a controlled language specification originally developed for aerospace maintenance documentation. LLMs well-versed in this language and it comes with heavy constraints on clean writing style that I often find a lot more readable. Sometimes I've tried to soften it a bit e.g. ask for "80% of the way to ASD-STE100" because the spec is quite stringent. But even better:

Diagrams / images. Instead of writing, ask your LLM to create a diagram. These can be a lot easier to process, parse, and understand. But even better:

Web pages. Ask for output "in HTML" to get a beautiful, interactive webpage. LLMs are getting really good at frontend and can create beautiful experiences, animations, etc. But even better:

Explainer videos. The output format I am most bullish on is fully custom / bespoke explainer videos generated on any arbitrary topic. Experiment with things like "Create a 3b1b style video explainer on X. Use my ElevenLabs API key for audio narration". (you'd need an API key for the latter or you can ask your LLM to find you decent free alternatives that use your local compute). This is actually starting to work!

In summary:
- As LLMs get better, they will do more and more of the legwork autonomously, and a lot more of our work will rise up the abstractions into oversight and understanding.
- Luckily, LLMs can help here too because as intelligence and code are increasingly abundant, you can ask for large, custom, discardable software artifacts (e.g. web apps, video explainers) that would have never made sense to create before. Push the boundaries here and you'll be surprised.

two minutes twenty later it was 48 of 48, and only then did Jev open the gate

out of 120 patches Claude Code and Grok signed off on 78 straight away and had a fight about the other 22

those 22 arguments are the product, because a reviewer that never objects is just decoration

the meter clocked $208.80 for the month, and to catch the human bill it would have to keep running for another 136 months

and here is the brutal part of this file: 6 of the 94 merged tickets came back with bugs

every one of them sat in the part of the code the test suite has never read, because coverage there is 61%

two models in the same blind spot is not two opinions, it is one mistake signed twice

شفت إعلان Anthropic عن الإضافات الجديدة في Claude Code، وأول سؤال جاء في بالي كان

"لحظة… Claude Code عنده أصلًا Skills وSubagents وHooks وCLAUDE.md وMCP وPlugins… فما الحاجة إلى Mods؟ 🤔"

وأعتقد أن كثيرًا منكم عنده نفس السؤال، لذلك هذا ما فهمته بعد البحث:

بشكل مبسط، كل واحدة من الأدوات الموجودة لها دور مختلف:

• CLAUDE.md
ملف تكتب فيه قواعد وتعليمات للمشروع، مثل طريقة كتابة الكود والقواعد التي يجب على Claude اتباعها.

• Skills
تعطي Claude طريقة جاهزة ومنظمة لتنفيذ مهمة معينة.

• Subagents
تسمح بتشغيل وكلاء متخصصين، مثل وكيل لمراجعة الأمان أو وكيل للاختبارات.

• Hooks
تسمح لك بتنفيذ كود عندما يحدث شيء معين، مثل قبل تشغيل أمر أو بعد تعديل ملف.

• MCP
يسمح بإضافة أدوات وخدمات خارجية يستطيع Claude استخدامها.

• Plugins
تجمع هذه الإضافات وتسمح بتثبيتها وتوزيعها.

طيب… ماذا تضيف Mods؟
هنا الفكرة تصبح مختلفة قليلًا.

الإضافات الجديدة تسمح لك ببناء ميزات تدخل في طريقة عمل Claude Code وواجهته نفسها، وليس فقط إعطاء Claude تعليمات أو إضافة أداة جديدة.

وهذا واضح جدًا من الأمثلة التي عرضتها Anthropic:

- Token Weather
يعرض لك مقدار ما استُخدم من مساحة السياق، وكيف تغير الاستخدام خلال آخر المحادثات.

- Blast Radius
إذا حاول Claude تنفيذ أمر خطير مثل:

rm -rf
git reset --hard
git push --force

يعترض الأمر ويعرض لك ما الذي يمكن أن يتأثر قبل تنفيذه.

وهنا ظهر لي الفرق:

الـ Hook يقول تقريبًا:
"عندما يحدث هذا الشيء، اسمح لي أن أنفذ كودًا."

أما الـ Mod فيمكن أن يقول:
"أريد أن أبني ميزة كاملة حول هذا الشيء."

يعني يمكن للإضافة أن تجمع مراقبة الأحداث + منطق خاص + حفظ معلومات + أوامر جديدة + واجهة جديدة، كلها في ميزة واحدة.

وهذا أيضًا جعلني أفكر في DeepSeek Harness
فكرته الأساسية أكثر اعتمادًا على أن أجزاء النظام نفسها قابلة للتركيب كإضافات، حتى أجزاء من تشغيل الوكيل نفسه.

Claude Code لم يتحول إلى نفس النموذج، لكن Mods تفتح طبقة جديدة ومهمة من التخصيص فوق النظام الموجود.

لذلك أراها تقريبًا هكذا:
CLAUDE.md ← ماذا يجب أن يعرف Claude عن المشروع

Skills ← كيف ينفذ مهمة معينة

Subagents ← وكلاء متخصصون لمهام معينة

Hooks ← ماذا أفعل عندما يحدث حدث معين

MCP ← ما الأدوات والخدمات التي يستطيع استخدامها

Plugins ← كيف أجمع هذه الإضافات وأثبتها

Mods ← كيف أبني ميزة جديدة داخل تجربة Claude Code نفسها

وهذا هو الجزء الذي وجدته مثيرًا فعلًا.

Mods ليست بديلًا عن Skills أو Hooks أو Subagents.

الفكرة أقرب إلى الانتقال من:

"كيف أستخدم Claude Code؟"

إلى:

"ماذا يمكنني أن أبني فوق Claude Code نفسه؟"
