As Nigeria counts down to 2027, my team and I have spent the last five months building something big.
It’s called Power and Plunder — a series that takes you through the entire history of Nigeria’s leadership.
From Tafawa Balewa in 1960 to the current administration, we’re doing deep dives on every single leader who has occupied that office. How they governed. What they built. What they destroyed. And how, for better or worse, each one shaped the course of this country.
First episode drops Wednesday, May 6th. Watch this space.
Dear BMB, the Starlink subsidy you have been benefiting from has been adversely affecting the economy of SpaceX. In order to grow the economy and make it benefit everyone instead of a few cabal. Starlink took the hard decision to remove subsidy. It'll get hard before it gets easy.
Apparently someone lifted this design and currently selling this design for a couple USD....(See comment session).

Today, I turn a year older. And every year on this day, I reflect on something far bigger than me.
For a long time, I believed luck was something that just happens to you. Then I realised, luck can be engineered. Opportunity can be democratised.
Hope is not just a feeling; it is a system we can build.
Any leader who can’t deliver in 4 years won’t deliver in 400 years.
99% of Nigerian politicians today have ZERO results to show.
Vote the demons OUT in 2027!
There’s so much to unpack in that Asake doc Korty made. She is a genius and truly one of the most remarkable storytellers of our time.
The one thing that stood out for me was his rebellion against reason and stubbornly insisting on his own path in life even when his parents wanted differently for him.
I know his story is that of an outlier, but Life gives no certainty to anyone. In the end, the most courageous thing you can do is to take a chance on your self and answer the question of who you want to become with your own life.
You can feel his quiet conviction and deep sense of providence that somehow everything would work out. And It did.
Please watch that doc if you haven’t, but more importantly fight for your place in the world. We only get to do this life ting once.
Here is the thing: the reason Daniel is not ashamed to share this train wreck of an interview is that he knows that Nigeria does not reward ethics. It does not reward shame. Nigeria is where shame goes to die. Nigeria does not reward morality. The only crime in Nigeria is poverty. And so he works for his supper the only way he knows how. This interview will do nothing to dent his already battered image. Just like Tolu Ogunlesi. Who insulted you over seedless grapes. Just like Reuben Abati during Jonathan. This too shall pass and Nigerians will forget and he will one day win elections in his local government and become a Federal Representative or Senator. Or become a well paid commentator. Daniel as odious as he is, is only a mirror of what Nigeria allows. He will be fine. His children will be fine. And he will never lack friends in and outside government.
