A Colorado ranch hand shot & killed mother wolf of Kings Mountain for just passing through the property, she did not kill any livestock. This is a federal offense since Colorado wolves are ESA listed. Now the 4 yearlings are truly orphaned. I hope they will stay together and survive as they have so far since the mother was killed 3/10/26. The mother was not with them & CPW was looking for her.
