On this Bastille Day, my thoughts are with the two French hostages still held by Hamas, and their families who are waiting resolutely for their return.
Ohad Yahalomi and Ofer Kalderon, stay strong! You are not forgotten!
Bring them home now!

BREAKING: “I was held hostage by an UNRWA teacher” Over 100 Victims of Hamas’ October 7th Massacre File Major Lawsuit Against UNRWA
Dozens of Israelis, including freed hostages and relatives of the Kedem family members murdered on October 7th, are filing a lawsuit against the UN agency @UNRWA in the federal court of New York.
They claim that UNRWA "strengthened Hamas and funded murders" and was complicit in torture and rape. Ditza Heyman, 84, recounted her captivity and attacked: "UNRWA knew it was hiring terrorists."
The victims, will file a major lawsuit today (Monday) in the federal court of New York against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), alleging it aided in genocide, crimes against humanity, torture, and systematic rape carried out by Hamas during that month.
The plaintiffs are represented by the law firm MM-LAW, which has also represented more than 12,000 victims from over 26 countries of other international terrorist attacks, chemical weapon attacks, torture, and crimes against humanity.
The lawsuit details how UNRWA led a money-laundering operation worth billions of dollars that financed Hamas. This operation caused some of the aid money transferred to Gaza to end up in the hands of the terrorist organization, instead of the residents who needed help. The lawsuit also claims that UNRWA allowed Hamas to dig tunnels and establish command centers beneath the agency's facilities, and that UNRWA employees participated in the October 7 massacre. The lawsuit was filed in New York, where the agency's headquarters, including the responsible managers, are located.
"The findings in this lawsuit prove that UNRWA was aware and actively participated in redirecting funds intended to support Gaza residents to channels that ensured these funds were used for terrorism, contrary to international law," said Bijan Amini, one of the leading attorneys in the case. "UNRWA's insistence that more than a billion dollars in aid to Gaza be distributed in cash, which locals couldn't spend without going through Hamas money changers, is one of the most incriminating new pieces of evidence presented in this case."
Instead of making aid payments in local currency, UNRWA insisted on making aid payments in US dollars—a currency Gaza residents couldn't use.
This was a unique practice in Gaza, not aligned with aid to the West Bank, Jordan, or other UN refugee programs. Along with the cost and risk of transporting $20 million in cash to Gaza monthly, this plan required aid recipients to pay Hamas money changers 10%-20% commissions to convert their dollars to shekels.
This payment plan reduced the real value of the aid to Gaza residents by $2-4 million a month and increased Hamas's monthly revenues by this amount. Perhaps more significantly, the plan ensured a reliable supply of US dollars for Hamas each month, which was needed to pay smugglers and arms dealers who don't accept shekels as payment.
"There is no pain in the world that compares to burying your children and grandchildren who were murdered and suffocated in their own home," said Gadi and Rauma Kedem, whose children and grandchildren were killed in the October 7 massacre.
“All that remains is to fight to hold accountable those responsible for strengthening Hamas. UNRWA strengthened Hamas and transferred funds and financed the murders while being a full partner in the growth of Hamas terrorists. UNRWA and its managers are fully complicit in the murder of my children and family."

Do you honestly think Jews can co-exist with those demons?
Naama Levy marks her 20th birthday today, having spent 260 days as a hostage in captivity by some of the most evil sub-humans on earth.
Where is the outrage? Why is the world silent?
📝 💔 Heartbreaking letter to Israeli hostage Naama Levy from her mother on her 20th birthday.
“Dear Naama,
This is a letter no mother should ever have to write to her daughter. Today is your 20th birthday. You should be celebrating this occasion surrounded by friends and family. Instead, you are enduring your 260th day as a hostage in Gaza surrounded by terrorists.
Ever since your abduction, we have been working relentlessly and in every way possible to bring you home. Every day without you is a day without air. The uncertainty and dread I experience is suffocating, and each passing day that you are not with us feels like an eternity. We will not stop fighting for you until you are home.
Naama, your captors have denied medical visits from the Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations, and this has left us in complete darkness about your well-being. We know nothing. As a physician, I am tormented by the realization that the person I most want to save in this world, I cannot.
My Naamonet, I speak to you in my heart every day. Do you hear me? When I close my eyes, I see you in front of me smiling. Do you see me? Every day I sit with my thoughts and am overcome by unspeakable anguish and pain. I ask myself, how did we reach this point? And today that pain is even sharper. You should be celebrating your birthday laughing with friends, blowing out candles with your two brothers and sister, hugging your father and me. You should be celebrating at home.
Naama, the images of your abduction broadcast to the world are images that I cannot unsee. Your bloodied sweatpants. Your handcuffed hands. The monster dragging you by the hair and forcing you into a car. Where that car took you and what’s happened to you since, the mind wanders down a cruel, dark path. It’s too much for a mother to bear.
Marking your birthday under these circumstances is surreal. I find myself looking at the same photo of you from a previous birthday, with your sweet face resting on your hands, your light brown hair flowing through a crown of yellow and white flowers. It seems like only yesterday. It seems like a lifetime ago.
Naama, you wouldn’t believe it, but this weekend, hundreds of people will gather in Central Park to mark your birthday. They will be wearing yellow and white headbands as an homage to your crown of flowers. You wouldn’t believe that you have become a symbol of determination. As people all over the world learned about you and your love for humanity, you have become an image of all that is good, even when everything seems so bad. Your dream of working toward peace and understanding is already being fulfilled. When you come back, your impact will take on added meaning.
Naama, on your birthday, my deepest wish is that the pain of these past months becomes just one chapter in a much bigger story – a story filled with so many bright moments that they outshine this period of darkness. My wish is for your freedom to arrive as soon as possible so that your healing can begin. My wish is to hold you just as I did for the first time on this day, 20 years ago, and to promise you that everything will be alright.
Love,
Mom”
