@dig_deeper1 The only sensors that give problems is the TPMS. Those were a pain TBH. Otherwise, you can buy a cheaper scanner on Amazon to turn off the inspection light. I still have my if he wants to buy it.

@dig_deeper1 Had an 08 Cayman S I bought with 30k miles. Sold it 6yrs later with 70k miles. Only issue was a water pump fixed under warranty. Would have done the work myself had I needed to. Otherwise the car was great. Only sold because I had kids and life was evolving.

@frankoz95967943 Looking at this more I think the goal is to crush rates. They know banks are sitting on tons of treasuries that are under par and they’re currently trying to end BFTP. If rates go up balance sheets get rekt.

@frankoz95967943 Problem with the engine issues is that this comes down to the airline or the shops who are overhauling these (GE, P&W, MTU). I personally work on jet engines (the land based ones) and can tell that OEM recommendations are not always followed due to budgets, timeframes...etc
