@jenifferault Their service in PEI is covered in serveral histories of your communications unit that Capt. Greg Gallant has at the PEI Reg Museum...one by Jim Spears...and an earlier review by the Army on an anniversary. He loaned them to me in the winter and I am sure he would for you as well
@jenifferault Yes. The little book is either at my sister's home on Ambrose Street or in his papers at the Public Archives. I will find out and get back to you.
You missed the political panel on @cbcpei this morning? Well listen right here as @stu_neatby @dabsweta , @LargeKathy and @PaulMacNeill talk about the week in PEI politics. #peipoli https://t.co/0P3KRMsPrK
@jenifferault So sorry you weren’t able to come Jennifer. I have left a copy of my mother’s book for you with Cindy Cheverie at Government House. It is the story of CFCY. It was published a long time ago now so you may not have seen it.
It was 100 years ago this Thursday, when an international broadcast of music was received on #PEI, the first radio transmission in Island history. Keith Rogers was PEI’s radio pioneer and we mark the 100th anniversary on Mainstreet with his granddaughter, broadcaster @largek
@largek, @PaulMacNeill, @dabsweta and @stu_neatby were more than ready chat about this week at the @peileg have a listen. https://t.co/LllghxPy8u
Tonight was perfect example of importance for local produced TV news as @CBCPEI relayed info on COVID testing required given new cases in #pei. I will be moving amendments to broadcasting act to prevent CBCHQ from cancelling local CBC TV news as they did at start of pandemic
Deux ans d'écriture et de réécritures, 45.000 mots, des centaines d'heures de travail... et le manuscrit est presque prêt: 8 ans de reportages en banlieue (et un peu en prison) dans un livre qui parlera de la fracture ethnique en France.
@newson77@mitchcormierCBC That was my mistake Rob. Sorry I made it. But I wasn't questioning anyone's intellectual capacity. Just a mild bit of fun at Mr. Thompson's expense as he makes the transition into government.
