@ktboldy I truly enjoy reading how you and Chris navigate your day. Having been a caregiver for my lovely father in law who had Alzheimer’s, I understand. Keep celebrating those daily accomplishments!

Seeing this sticker helps officers recognize that someone in the vehicle may communicate, respond, or interact differently.
These free Autism Awareness stickers are designed for display on the rear window of your vehicle. They provide an important alert to first responders that an occupant may have autism and may communicate or react differently, particularly during stressful situations.
A simple sticker can help prevent misunderstandings, encourage patience and understanding, and promote safer, more effective communication during traffic stops or other interactions.
Free stickers are available for pickup at the Starkville Police Department (101 E Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759).

@NiallHarbison I so appreciate the effort you make to keep us all up to date on all the wonderful, and sometimes even not so wonderful, events and daily happenings. Thank you, Niall!
I have a nice old neighbor that a while back lost his wife, then a short time later develop a blood clot and lost his right leg from the knee down. This made it difficult for him to do the two things he loves to do and that’s taking his fishing boat out to the lake and to drive his riding lawnmower around his big yard to cut the grass. The problem with launching his boat is he had to get his prosthetic leg into the water and it wasn’t supposed to be in the water. And the problem with his lawnmower is he had a hard time getting on and off of it with nothing to hold onto. So I built a removable ramp on the side of his trailer and he’s now able to launch his boat without getting his leg in the water. And to solve the lawnmower problem I fabricated a front hold handle for him to grab when he gets on and off of it. He is now a happy fisherman again and also able to cut his grass without help from anyone. Life is good.
@ktboldy The “Friends” choir is such a lovely idea! My sweet father in law, who lived with us the last few months of his dementia journey, sang old songs and hymns right every day.
A young fan at a Pittsburgh Pirates game was spotted wearing a jersey with the number 28 by outfielder Jake Mangum himself. He threw a ball towards her, caught by the girl’s big brother, who handed it to her. @DavidMuir shares the sweet sibling moment. https://t.co/JgVTlWqVHD
The feds are moving forward with plans to wall off the Big Bend region. Some reports say walls are "off the table" in the state park, but DHS hasn't canceled construction contracts or restored the legal protections they stripped.
Nobody is crossing here. Look at those cliffs.
Seven-year-old Ben O'Reilly is the only deaf student in his Campton, New Hampshire, school district. His aide said that he felt isolated at school — until the other students decided to change that.
His entire class learned sign language and now, nearly every student and staff member at the school knows some: "You could just watch his world open up with communication. It was amazing." https://t.co/HmtSm2rJon
I think so often about people who, trapped in various kinds of defeat like I was, feel too ashamed to go to church and, if that’s you, I want to say to you this morning, that’s why we have a savior.
Jesus came to this world—God made flesh—and gave his sinless life on a cross, was laid in the tomb and raised from the dead for people like you and me. You don’t have to clean yourself up for Jesus. He is clean enough for us both.
You are welcome in his arms and you are most certainly welcome in a church with the rest of us sinners saved by nothing but grace. Do not be deceived by how we may seem. We were just as desperate. Find a place and go!
