Best dyslexia success story so far this year: when trying to read, a student often interrupted class yelling at himself for being stupid. Now, seeing growth, he interrupts class yelling excitedly about how smart he is. I love when kids change the way they talk about themselves!
There’s a fat squirrel that runs down the fence right outside my kitchen window, stops, and shakes his tail at my dogs. They lose their minds barking EVERY SINGLE TIME. Reminds me of when the kids were toddlers. “Mom, he’s almost touching me!”
@MeagenBaker I love this. You would be allowing the hands on kids who thrive on construction the fun of creating the miniature “set” and your tech kids who love green screen technology a chance to shine.

@lesliefisher realized at #TCEA that when I tweeted out about the $1 merge cubes last year, I should have bought stock in the company. Wow! Cool what they are doing now for education.
Totally survived our first presentation to other educators. Thanks @LacySanders20 for all your support and thanks to everyone who attended Oral Admin with Ease at #TCEA for your kind words and great input into the conversation of how we can accommodate students in the classroom.
#TCEA Want to learn easy ways to accommodate oral admin for special needs kids? Come see me and @LacySanders20 Friday morning at 8:00 in room 214D. BTW it’s our first time to present to a group!!! Show us some love!!!
You can’t change the personalities of the people you work with, but you can change you. See their gifts, even if they are different from you. #TCEA@gerrybrooksprin

Excited to head to San Antonio for #TCEA conference next week. I am presenting for the first time (3x!). I’m rotating between excited and hyperventilating.
I received a copy of The Christmas Remedy to review. Although I am typically not a romance fan, this one raised some intriguing questions about tradition and the role of health care in the Amish community. Good read. #prhpartner
