@bofrench Besides being a racist, you are also ignorant of the admissions policy of the University of Texas. Under Texas Law, 75% of the admission slots are filled by Texas High School students who graduate in the top 5% of their class. That is a race-blind policy.

@janesnage @RyanShead @RepMTG In our system, trials do not prove innocence. The two possible verdicts are ‘guilty’ and ‘not guilty’. ‘Innocent’ is not an option. A not guilty verdict simply means the government failed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

@AmesCG I was recently in a presentation from the guy that manages the rivers and lakes for 70% of Texas and none of his forecast models considered climate change in any way. It's not just that we are ignoring the 2nd and 3rd order effects, we're also ignoring the 1st order effects.
