A deep dive on Trump's #FoodFreedom proposal to allow on-site slaughtering by farmers.
First, Americans enjoyed the right to buy food directly from the farmer, slaughtered on the farm, since the beginning of the nation, and federal law recognized that explicitly until 1967, exempting all farm-to-table direct sales from all inspection & processing laws. The custom exemption laws were meant to expand that exception to religious communities, but has been construed by the bureaucracy to be limited to that group instead.
Second, the food inspection laws that effectively give BigAg a monopoly on processing, creating a costly barrier for small farmers, were never intended to regulate the small farmer at all. The food inspection laws were designed to regulate grocery store sold food from slaughterhouses.
Third, the law only prohibits the sale of food unapproved by a federal inspector if that food is required to be inspected by law in the first place.
Fourth, the inspection law references food sold in commerce and send to a slaughtering house; what was intended to only regulate slaughterhouses has been misconstrued by bureaucrats to require all meat to go to slaughterhouses instead.
Fifth, the discretion afforded the Secretary under the law, the original limited intention of the word "commerce", the original limited intention of slaughterhouse-specific inspection regime, the original intention of a broader custom exemption, and the Constitutional constraint on the meaning & application of these laws affords the President the authority to make on-site slaughtered beef available for direct farm-to-table, farmer-to-customer sales, as the law long intended and the Constitution protects.
🚨BREAKING! AMAZING footage flooding out of Iran RIGHT NOW, massive crowds of Iranians CHEERING, BLAZING their car horns, waving flags, and straight-up CELEBRATING like it’s liberation day as the Khamenei regime CRUMBLES at the hands of Trump!
🔴 Really disturbing Starlink message:
"I have news from someone in Dezful - the city is under siege by Hashd ash-Shaabi (Iraqi terrorist militia).
They are beastly mercenaries with covered faces who can’t understand Persian and only speak Arabic.
The whole city is on curfew and there's an atmosphere of terror and dread everywhere.
Snipers are positioned on taller buildings in the last few days, head shotting people at random.
They have no mercy and don’t discriminate between children, teenagers or the elderly.
Anyone leaving the house risks be shot by snipers or killed by mercenaries on the ground.
It’s very likely that the situation is similar in other cities in Khuzestan Province.
They are getting massacred in total silence (no news coverage) and isolation.
Please speak up for Dezful and other smaller cities."
@JonesDanny If this guy had been in charge of anything back then, we for sure wouldn't have accomplished anything. He is afraid of his own shadow. Perfect illustration of a desk jockey, not a pilot.
@CBKimbrell So generous of you to allow such a reasonable amount of time to evaluate and test the to reach your conclusion. What solid support you must have had.
@MaxROIFarmer My experience has been that it’s best to keep them separate. Track costs across inventory and access and then check those numbers against your actual accounting numbers. Much easier.
@TheCowboyFarmer@MaizeingPete Hey this just happened to me on Monday. On my series, it was one of the 5 check valves that are on the bottom of the block. Service manual calls for changing the check valves first, before even checking anything electrical.
@jamiedupree He’s right Jamie. Some are receiving “benefits”. He didn’t say SS benefits. They’re using SS to verify a persons existence and then getting benefits from somewhere else. Stop with this childish whining. There’s loads of waste in our govt.
